While working at Motorola, Bill Blair started a single screen movie theatre that he operated at night and weekends. Three years later, he left as a Senior Engineer from Motorola to operate the first theatre that was expanded to a twin, and oversee another twin that was under construction. Not satisfied with the quality or scheduling of other General Contractors, he became a licensed Residential and Commercial Contractor. He then built five 25,000-35,000 square foot theatres, and remodeled another four that he acquired to the latest state of the art construction. When not building theatres, his company built custom homes the way he would want if he were going to live in them. After selling his theatre chain to United Artists Theatres, he developed subdivisions in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Glendale, Surprise and Buckeye. He also has continued building custom homes throughout the Valley and Prescott, Arizona.
